THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTE
WE DID IT!
First, I want to thank every supporter, endorser, and volunteer who helped with my campaign. I truly could not have done this without each and every one of you. Thank you for volunteering to walk precincts, hand out flyers at the Farmer's Market, advocate on social media, and many other important jobs. I am honored and humbled that you have chosen me to be your voice on the SRVUSD Board of Education, and I promise to represent all of the members of our community to the best of my ability.
For those of you who did not vote for me or who may have disagreed with my platform, please know that I come into this position free of personal bias or hidden agendas. I intend to listen to every voice, whether you agree with me or not, and to make sure that everyone feels like they have a seat at the table. I will treat all of you with respect and decency and hope you do the same. As J.K. Rowlings said, “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided." Let's choose to be unified and strong.
I decided to run for the Board because I saw a district in distress and decisions being made by the Board that I felt were not in the best interest of our children. I have dedicated the last 12 years to serving this community, and I intend to bring my knowledge, qualifications. and experience to help our amazing district reset and move forward, but I can't do this alone.
As a district, we will be faced with many difficult decisions in the months ahead. We live in a wonderful community that has a common passion: our children. We need to focus on what unites us instead of what may divide us. This is the path that will most benefit all of our children. Again, thank you for your support. I look forward to representing you come December.
Let's get this job done together!
